It’s not an accident that we named the site techno bloom.  We see the “bloom” of technology continue to deliver advancements that move at such a rapid pace, we make it our mission to follow and report on breaking industry news, new products such as tablets, smartphones, apps that make our lives easier, company profiles, and more.

We have a full time staff of 8 editors and writers, as well as some part time staff and even an intern. Providing well written and informative news articles allows us to deliver in a way that the average person can understand and benefit from the content.

Here at TechnoBloom, it’s all about interactivity. We find that a well-informed user who can contribute their own content and stay an active part of the technology community helps make our company a valuable resource in a quickly changing techo world.

Steve Brashear: Editorial Director

Steve has spent much of his professional career in journalism starting out as a copy editor and eventually winding up as Editor at Large of a daily newspaper in Canada. Steve has also written as a contributing writer for many online technology publications out of the sheer love of writing and electronics. A MAC die hard, Steve loves his iPhone but has become a knowledgeable resource on mobile technology over the years. We are very proud to announce Steve just got his first Android device and has not “hated” it – but his iPhone is never out of his site.

Steve loves to travel with his wife and son when his is not working.

John Gay: Writer

John has been into technology since he was able to crawl. We all know one guy like this, the shaggy bearded Linux talking, kernel chewing go to guy when you need something fixed. John takes his craft very seriously and has been writing about open source software for over a decade. John’s an Android guru who is constantly researching and writing about the latest and greatest advancements by Android.

John is an outdoors-man who loves reading, camping and hiking in the mid-west and can normally be found online at all hours of the day.

Rebecca knew from an early age that she was either going to be a private detective or a news writer due to the fact she was always in the middle of whats going on or trying hard to be there. With a love for learning and research, Rebecca pursued her Journalism degree and dove head first into the arena after graduation. A talented writer who has a passion for tablets, Rebecca keeps our readers informed about the latest and greatest in teh world of mobile computing.

Jacob Abney: Writer

Jacob has been a valuable part of our media team since the beginning when he starting as an intern. Seeing the skill and passion for writing and social communication, we quickly decided to bring him on full time and utilize his talents. While we were skeptical that his obsession for sports would cause trouble, Jacob has such a vast knowledge of technology, networking, and business development that he now constantly receives request to speak and write for other publications.

On the weekends, you can always find Jacob at a game or in front of the TV watching football or a range of other sports. Jacob is a USC fan who loves all college sports and lives in Los Angeles.

Rahul is a reformed IT geek who took his knowledge and love for writing and started as a contributing writer for a few online tech publications in back in 2008. Joining the TechnoBloom team in early 2011, Rahul has quickly become one of the featured writers for us. A self-proclaimed smartphone freak, Rahul has been into the mobile technology field for almost a decade.

When Rahul is not researching the latest technology trends, he loves mountain biking and capturing videos of Indian trains.
