Over the past few weeks, customers on the AT&T network that own an HTC One X were complaining about Wi-Fi connection issues so the company responded with an update.  The update is about 65MB in size and according to AT&T it will be sent out over-the-air.  The update is available for all HTC One X users and will bring the software version up to 1.85.502.3.  The HTC One X will also get a couple of other minor updates with the file including an increase to Wi-Fi throughput that gives users improved Wi-Fi connection speeds and one that will take care of an issue regarding user address books on the device.

The HTC One X just launched last month and according to 9to5 Google, “The HTC One X is touted as one of the best Android handsets on the market right now, and I certainly would not disagree”.  The HTC One X is available on the AT&T website for $199 with a new two-year contract.  You can also pick the device up from an AT&T store if you have one in your area.  If you are looking for a good deal, checking Amazon is always a great place to start.  The HTC One X can be found there for $149 after a $50 discount, but that version does not come with the unlocked boot loader available with other models from HTC.

HTC made a comment regarding the Amazon models saying, “HTC is committed to listening to users and delivering customer satisfaction, since announcing our commitment to unlockable bootloaders, HTC has worked to enable our customers to unlock the bootloader on more than 45 devices over the past six months.”  Any device that is not available with the unlocked bootloader is on the list because of some restrictions, according to HTC.

The HTC One X comes with a nice list of features that include the huge 4.7-inch Super LCD display.  The pixel resolution comes in at 1280×720 pixels and you will be able to find an 8MP camera on the back side.  The camera includes an ImageChip that enhances the picture processing.  The HTC One X comes with support for the 4G LTE network and comes equipped with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
